Down here on the coast we will definitely see rain and winds. It is already looking like a big area of rain according to radar. Inland 20 30 miles will get a breeze and showers. That is IF it stays the course as of this morning. Everyone will get a better idea once it gets rolling today.

it is already breezy down here, you can tell something is brewing out there.

We already have forecast winds of 45mph starting tonight into tomorrow

It is very nice and breezy out there this morning. No humidity

Looks like Francine is going to be 100 miles offshore when it passes so we should not get much wind. They are calling for 2+ inches of rain though starting tonight into tomorrow and Wednesday. Hopefully we can pass on this storm!:)

that rain is for us down here close to the coast

How shitty is it gonna be if you spend all night shitting just to be told you are shit out of luck because they closed for the hurricane.

I bet a lot of people are going tk be told that Wednesday/thuraday.

I love working at MD Anderson, but last hurricane they were still not “closed” till the damn eye of the storm was over top of us and even then they only delayed procedures another two hours. I hate to think how many patients drove there through the hurricane hoping to be seen.

Completely failed to call in the ride out time ahead of time too. I wonder how many night shift nurses got stuck there because nobody showed up for work.

would it help if I told you a colonoscopy can help find polyps before they become cancer and keep it preventable!

The eye will still be offshore as it passes by. It all depends how big it gets during the day tomorrow? 40+ mph winds, a few inches of rain and the folks that like to live on the beach will have a storm surge and more than likely will lose some yard area???

I just pulled my stitches out from hand surgery as I do not plan on going anywhere on Wednesday, saved a doctors visit. I’ll hear about it when I have to go back I’m sure?:)

Appreciate it brother and you're absolutely correct. Is good stuff for sure.

Not my first rodeo riding the steel horse LOL. This is my 3rd. Colon cancer has some history in my family so I am doing it every 3 years since I was 45. Nothing wrong with being proactive no matter how much it sucks. I will take a colonoscopy over cancer anytime :)

I am doing a large case on a 45 year old
Tomorrow who has cancer all over his abdomen. This is likely a palliative treatment. You are doing the right thing! I am not sure I would want to risk the laboratory testing in your situation.

Storm surge,, I’m think I’m my they are going to amend some of their predictions. I had to go past the Bay pu this morning and I could not believe how high the water was. Yesterday on the 61 Pier they were catching Bull Reds all day long. If you look on the webcams the surf is rolling and waves are breaking already. Should be a good show and the surfers should have a ball this afternoon and tomorrow!!!:)

    No surfers!!!

looks like we are in the clear for the most part. The storm has shifted even farther to the East. Looks like Port Fourchon Grand Island area.

I know a guy that is captain on a long line boat that is offshore of South Pass. He wants to set his gear as/when the storm passes. Hope he is safe!

he seemed acclimated to S/C'd tundras.

Aren't you north of Houston? Huntsville Toyota did my SC install and they're very fluent in all things SC. I can give you the tech name as well. He will be doing my maintenance from now on. My next one is at 10K.

I live south of the beltway. Friendswood.
    <lake house is in Conroe.>

I'll keep huntsville toyota on the list when I'm at the lake.
it's good to know they are not scared of a modified Tundra.

I just have an aversion to dealerships.
and it does not help that we went looking the past couple of weeks, and all the dealerships we went in to supported my poor opinion of them.

You will like the Huntsville one. Nothing like the big city ones. Is very small and very attentive to the experience rather than your $$$. The service shop was awesome. Jessica the service rep and Johny the Toyota/SC tech are your to go people. I even got a call from the GM after my SC install to check on my experience.

    well.

nothing but good things to say about them.

    Plugs (specific to my S/C)
    coolant change
    brakes (all oem parts)

he completely cleaned my engine bay

noticed I need a new battery...mine is starting to belch acid. (Costco run today)

and set my lane change to 7 blinks.

nice, clean shop in a nice area.

    highly recommended

    and he drives a Tundra.

FYI if you are ever in the need for anything PPF look at Apex Motor Trends in League City on Hwy3 and 96 Bypass. They do amazing work. I think I have taken four or five vehicles to them.

The also do powder coating, tinting, and full wraps.
