In a world of backyard reviews and "testing" on all kinds of things, it's good to see Lake using his knowledge and credentials to spread the truth and science in an easy to digest format. I'm in the additive industry and have to bite my tongue often whenever I see people spreading baseless misinformation.

I was to and worked for a lubricants company that Lake frequents and colabs with. I definitely trust his knowledge more than the average joe on YT.

Not to mention less knock with premium on a turbo charged car, less the timing advancement that occurs to compensate, less wear overall. Most manufactures don’t want to tell people they stand to gain from running premium fuel.
