I believe the platinum one does. Maybe they can chime in.

Yes, the platinum does. Pretty much everything but maintenance. Just got a 5yr/100,000 from Jerry. Won't list the price but cheaper than expected and seems like a solid guy.Screenshot_20240817_085008_Chrome.jpg

Just emailed Jerry and he got back to me within minutes. I got the 10yr. 100,000 mi. for $400 less than the selling dealer who would not budge on the price. Also the selling dealer tried to tell me you have to purchase this in the same state you bought it. That is a lie. Jerry said he hears that one alot. I am in Missouri, and Jerry is in Kansas and it went through just fine. THANK YOU!! Jerry.

I bought mine platinum plan for between $2500 and $3000 just a month before they announced the engine replacement program. Therefore don't ever take advice from me about our beloved Tundra's. Some days you get the Bear....and some days the Bear gets you.

Jerry just hooked me up 10y 100k Platinum no deductible on my Supra...for a damn good price considering what the dealer was raping me for it.

Curious if anyone who purchased the extended warranty had any issues where a claim was denied.

    Super dumb question incoming:

Is a Service Agreement the same thing as a warranty?

I got a Platinum (6 year 100k) Service Agreement with my truck. It was $2,500 I think. Probably got taken for a ride, who knows! I just wanted the extra engine coverage if a recall doesn’t come…

Are there things an extended warranty covers that the service agreement does not cover?

I would assume that the service agreement is for just that servicing the vehicle…and a warranty is for replacing/fixing warranted items. U should check with Jerry or whomever else on their price on a service contract, u have a grace period and then prorated after that to cancel.

Yeah that’s what I assumed at first, but I also have the prepaid maintenance agreement that covers everything the manual recommends up to 75k miles.

The fine print in the service agreement makes it seem like it covers many things a warranty would. And when I do a quick google search, it sounds like they are basically the same.

But I was just curious if I was missing extra coverage that a warranty provides.

I am in Canada. Is it true that the warranty sold in the US is a challenge to be claimed in Canada or not even possible for me to buy?

What are my best options for warranty?

Curious where you heard this. I live in California and purchased a warranty/ToyotaCare from outside of California and have had no issues. It's entered in Toyota's system just like any others. I checked with the dealer on my last visit and they said everything looks just fine.

Canada & Canadian dollars, Paid $2000+tax for ECP Platinum Plan, 100k / 5 year. Dealer cost $1554. With the oil changes, brake fluid, and transfer case fluid it's not bad for some extra piece of mind. I would be surprised if I made it to 100,000km by the end of five years.

He got back with me. His price was less than 1/4th of what I was offered at my local dealer. Jerry was very kind and explained everything. I was ready to give him my info and make it happen!

I purchased the Platinum 10yr/125K warranty from Toyota after I purchased my 2022. I am considering trading it in and I know that the warranty can be transferred to a new owner, but does that extend to the dealership if I sell it back to them, or does it only transfer on a person-to-person direct sale?

As my vehicle still has 100K and just under 8 years left on the warranty, I would hope that this increases my resale value negotiation (at least a bit).

If not, is the warranty able to be cancelled to get a prorated return of the cost?

    Thanks all!

Not sure on the answer to your first question but I do know you can for sure cancel and get prorated for it.

Has anyone used their extended warranty on these trucks yet? I have one (not into it yet) but am curious about the experience once the 3/36 is finished and how to best to go about getting the most from it.

My theory is, if you never have to use it at all is the best outcome. I won't be be upset & won't think the money was wasted. Piece of mind.

I tried but couldn't get through all 84 pages...Does anyone know what options exist for vehicles outside of the original 3/36k warranty? Can a Toyota dealer who is reselling used re-certify the vehicle or offer similar coverages?

Thanks to everyone on this thread! Super helpful info.

Just finished purchasing my factory Toyota warranty extension from Jerry (huge thanks to Jerry Johnson from Midwest Superstore). I got Jerry's contact info right here on Tundras.com on Wednesday 11/13, the day after I bought my truck from Centennial Toyota in LV. I did not take their warranty(s) as they attempted to sell me an extremely bloated extended Warranty, an additional Service Contract, AND an additional warranty for the Hybrid System, all totaling over $7000 additional to the truck price. What a Joke!! I declined them all (with a little trepidation).

I sent Jerry an email, he called me back on my cell. Super nice, answered all my questions and ended up getting my Toyota factory warranty extended for an additional 4 years for less than $800 (take my money!).

He also let me know that the Hybrid battery is covered under the factory Toyota warranty for 10yrs or 150000 miles on its own.

Just bought a 8yr/100k warranty for my 2024 Tundra.

Bought the Tundra last Saturday and immediately messaged Jerry.

It’s a factory warranty for far far less than my dealership was willing to sell it for.

I will be using him for any Toyota/ Lexus or Ford warranties I ever need in the future.

    Thanks Jerry!

I don’t remember my extended warranty details but I had a TPMS issue and they replaced 2 sensors free of charge and billed $450. High charge of course vs a tire shop but I didn’t have a deductible and it’s all OEM. I went to my tire shop for a rotation and my left lower ball joint had some slight play in it, interestingly they told me it would be well within spec for a Dodge. $1100 to fix it as it comes with the lower control arm. Went to my service advisor at Toyota and he squeaked me in before my 2500 mile Death Valley trip. They covered it zero charge other than the alignment I requested cuz I hit a massive hole, on the left side, going about 50mph which is what caused the issue. So far I’m glad I got it
