If I knew before finalizing all the paperwork about the Key FOB situation, I would have not purchased a Toyota. It is a big inconvenience for me and my family. I will be selecting a FORD next round.

If it's a real inconvenience, you can purchase one from the parts department and have service program it.

I just went into the Dealership to get an oil change on my truck and asked for the second key fob and they had it ready for me when I picked the truck up. No charge at all.

    Probably a heck of a lot cheaper than a 3.5" lift too...:anonymous:

Just don’t end up like guy in this thread that got mad about his fob.
Full story is he accelerated to pass, but threw a bearing. As he went to turn down the radio, broke the knob, upon which he flexed in his seat with anger, breaking a seat panel. The final straw was knowing he has a hybrid, his truck is not recalled. He then decided to see how far he could get under motive battery power. He made it to the RAMs stadium.
TLDR- Buy a RAM, two fobs and no issues, ever.

    Happy Trolling.

I felt exactly the same way in the beginning back in April when I purchased mine, but I really love this truck, so much so that I moved on and let it go. I did call the dealership about my 2nd fob this morning, and told them it's now been 5 months and that I needed to schedule an appointment for the 2nd fob, they scheduled it for this afternoon no questions asked.
