Ya, was an excellent race ... intially I thought Sainz took out Perez to protect Charles but then I saw Sainz was bumped causing the collision.

Nice seeing both Williams in the points and nice seeing Russel with a podium.

I don't think the commentary mentioned Russel once during the race until the end.

Very cool to see both Williams compete the whole day and hold their top 10

The stewards have taken no further action againts Sainz/Perez crash. None of those guys are as bad as Magnusssen or Verstappen.

Didn’t like Max’s sister team stealing the fastest lap from Lando. Only top 10 should be eligible to get the fastest lap.

:notsure: RB have 4 cars in the game and padded Max's championship lead by one point. Daniel didn't have anything to lose so they made a buisness decision and made that move to soft and fastest lap. Pretty boring race but glad Lando is closing in on drivers championship.

Definitely a boring race, but I did get a short nap in so that’s a bonus.

I don’t really like the Singapore track/race. Nothing about the track is interesting and I don’t like subjecting the drivers to that humidity.

Russell is really turning into a whiny brat.

    My new favorite word… Co-La-Pinto

The known of all knowns, Ricciardo is out of a job. Going to be interesting to see how Reb Bull handles the drivers next year.

People seem to forget what Lando said about Danny's tenure at McLaren ending on DTS, or that whole RIC/PIA/Alpine thing and how it was handled.

The only restrictions on fastest lap is being in the top 10 to get the point. Not allowing any driver for any team to try and set the fastest lap except for those running in the top 10 is not something easily managed, might as well do away with it, and while they're at it dump the stupid sprints.

This isn't the first time a midfield or back marker team has pitted someone for new tires to set the fastest lap. It certainly won't be the last.

Someone on another forum I belong to compiled this list, and it took him a bit because it isn't catalogued anywhere that he could find.

Sprint race was pretty good today. Max probably could be reeled in with a longer stint. Tire strategy will be key tomorrow.

I still crack up every time I see this.

Nevertheless, Red Flag Friday for FP1 and 2. Woody was fast in FP1 and binned it in FP2 during Perrelli tire testing.

Carlos was fast in both sessions while Max was struggling with engine issues. Bearman drove Leclerc's car in FP1 as other teams did the same with backup/grooming future drivers.

Looking for the red wave (P1 and 2) two weeks in a row.

My GAWD what a mess at Interlagos. Good grief. Race is gonna end on time and not laps.

It is 10:53am central time and 33 of 69 laps have been run as we're in another red flag stoppage.

FYI the race start was moved up several hours to avoid predicted heavy rains. And we got...................heavy insane rains.

That was an amazing race weekend. Completely nucking futs. Wife and I were up early so watched Qualifying soon after it was published on the app. Got done with 25 mins to spare before the race started.

Stroll… what a phuking ape. Spin on the warm-up lap and then when trying to reset intentionally drives it into the gravel. Sure hope daddy puts him in time out.

I will give credit where credit is due. I loved watching Verstappen melt down the past few races, but I also enjoyed watching his master class in racing yesterday. He’s unstoppable when angry and hyper focused.

Angry Max is Best Max. I really thought at the end of Lap 2 that he wasn't going to have a bad race but it wasn't until around lap 30 or so that I thought he could win it.

Stroll is undeserving of his seat, and to think Newey will be designing cars for him to wreck is terrible.

This was better than his 2016 Brazil GP performance.

I vote to put Bottas in Sergio’s seat next year. Love Bottas but need to see if he’s still got it or needs to retire…

Put Sergio in a RB seat to hopefully regain his form.

    There, I said it

I would like to see Yuki in the second Red Bull seat. I also wish Ferrari kept Carlos as Lewis needs to retire. If Andretti Cadillac can enter the series that would be awesome as well.

I don't know what F1 has against Michael Andretti, but unless he can buy Alpine or HAAS, I don't think they'll let Andretti in. They would welcome GM though.

What we need is a naturally aspirated V10 on synthetic fuel, and no more KERS/Hybrid/Turbo V6 bullshit and smaller, more agile cars.

I really don't think rotating Spa/Zandvoort with Imola/Barcelona is a good thing for the European season. There's nothing terribly exciting about most of the ME circuits, and honestly Liberty Media should invest in a Grade 3 Circuit outside of Vegas instead of that bullshit street circuit that just pisses off the locals/businesses. Miami can go away. Keep COTA.

I'm sure Liberty will manage to drop the ball and the FiA will come up with more stupid regulations, as it looks right now the 2026 cars will be slower than the current cars and Indycar.

    And the Alpine goes boom...

A good race this week. Congrats to Max...he earned this one coming back from a season marred by all the internal fighting and bad design changes.

Nice to see Hamilton have a solid race too. I don't remember coming away being impressed with the Vegas course last year, but I really liked it this year. Other than a few bumps, the street course looked butter smooth and it was crazy fast.
