This is what I love about Austin - about a half a mile or so from Franklins BBQ is Mickelthwaits Craft Meats. They used to have a place a few blocks up the street from us but basically got run out of town for being from Austin. I used to walk up there every Sunday for church and hadn't had any of their food since they left our town.

If you are spending any time in Austin or traveling through, stop by and try these guys out. They also have beer, homemade ice cream and other homemade goodies...

 

Tried these out today too.



I figured they were gonna suck ass but they are actually pretty good. They smell a little like Coca-Cola, have a decent amount of cream in them, and the cream has pop rocks inside.

I'm gonna have to put these near the top of my favorite Oreo flavors - they have the right amount of cream and are weirdly pretty good. They actually have a Coca-cola aftertaste.

 

Interesting. Not sure if it’s out yet, but Coke is coming out with an Oreo flavor as well.

 

That’s out too - my brother-in-law likes it a lot.

It had to be. My bike was between 2 cars in my driveway. Only way to see it is drive down the alley. Unless they drove 12 miles south out of town, flipped a bitch on I-27, picked my trailerhood to come into, picked my alley to turn down, ignored my neighbors stash of stuff and looked directly left at my bike. I'm betting on option one.

 

Perhaps I missed something. Are you saying they recovered the bike and returned it to you, and wouldn't give you any info on the shitbag or where they found it? I'd wanna see a mugshot and know his address, you know, just because.....
