It got left on the field because it's part of an active crime scene. The entire stadium got cordoned off by the police, according to the news.

The dude fled the scene of an accident and played bumper cars across the City of Boulder to ultimately end up at the football stadium. I'm assuming the guy was blitzed out of his mind or a lunatic...or both.

 

But it was the broken radio knob that put him over the edge...

 

...or the dealer saying an obvious issue is "normal".
