If anything happens to my 95mm TB I can swap in without having to change tunes...airload etc.
Have you already installed the TB on your truck? Haha

 

I guess *mechanically and electrically plug and play*. I assume there will be tuning headaches just like you guys with large TBs have already experienced, but hopefully this simplifies that to some extent also. I was hoping to build out the 3D printed model and install it on my truck, but that ended up being a hassle so I said fuck it. One of the prototypes will go on my truck, and if I can get it running and working nicely then I'll build the second prototype and send it out to someone to get their feedback and figure out any additional issues.

 

I should have my original TB somewhere if you need one to fiddle with. (I can look sometime today if you want it)

 

Appreciate the offer, at the moment I'm good. Armyoffoo sent me his awhile back to dissect, Rey's dad sent me one, and then I grabbed another one off eBay for cheap. I have three goes plus my personal truck before I need more, hopefully it doesn't take that many tries hahaha

 

At first I went with the backwards approach with throttle angle, shift points and engine torque load.
The approah you did is easiest! Just changing the airload up 25% has been great and a little change in timing, it rips!
I could test if needed...

No sir, though thank you for reminding me. I'll get something thrown up on the site, the design needs some minor tweaking.

 

I think we should all send @snivilous our stock throttle bodies; have you seen the size of his shop?

 

What's nice is the TVS 1900 snout can be ported right to 94mm!

 

I may port my blower to 94mm if everything goes smoothly, I won't be able to get direct dyno data but the boost gauge should show if there's any change. Though I want to keep my setup relatable to most people so that might be a step too far, but it would be nice to get three data points of stock TB, modified TB, and modified+ported snout.

 

Fresh denso o2s from rock auto ftw. Figured why not since I freshened the plugs and coil packs

Nice, enjoy the last bits of summer with family! Just wanted to see how it's holding up. I may vent my hood at the forward section in between the hood framing just above the fan, between rad and SC. Low psi area to draw heat up. May use stainless or aluminum perforated sheets as infill.

 

Yes sir one last hooray with the family fishing! I also did drill 4-2" holes at the front of the hood behind the bulge. Figured that would cyclone some engine hot air and exit the vents. But that's just my dumbass theory I'm no engineer

 

I talked to these guys awhile back. The hood concave area would fit one of their universal kits very nicely.

BBK calipers are in Chicago, really nice guy said he should have them disassembled & to the Powder Coater Monday, he didn't have the TRD stickers so I had some shipped to him but if he doesn't like the quality I'll live without it.

Found the rotors on eBay, asked about the right one, they said they are NLA and people use 2 left's. WTF? It's a DIRECTIONAL rotor.




I ordered the right from Toyota.

 

How do you properly bleed the brakes if 1 bleeder is on the bottom and the opposite side bleeder is on the top?

 

Guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it lol

 

Both bleeders are at the top of each side of the caliper. You bleed one side of the caliper at a time, it adds a couple steps to your bleeding procedure.

 

I assume outside first?

 

Correct, passenger outboard, passenger inboard, driver outboard, driver inboard...did you get the correct bolts, can't reuse the stock ones.

 

There is also a break-in procedure
