    Hey folks

I am wondering if anyone has installed these in the plastic panel on the rear bumper. The reason I ask is that kinda looked around and felt back behind there & it seems like it would be a tight fit. I haven't been able to find the exact dimensions of the square hole that is needed. Any pictures of the installed lights would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Rigids site shows the dimensions of the lights.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only thing I could find were the outside flange dimensions, not the hole dimensions?

I have the Rigid SRQ's mounted in the rear bumper panel.

    Soooo

Did you cut the plastic panel only or did you have to cut out brackets/metal/plastic back behind there?

Thanks for the pic.....almost exactly what I am aiming for....

Plastic panel only, but the positioning of the lights is pretty crucial, not a lot of room behind the plastic panel which is why the lights are positioned where they are.

Agreed with the above. Measure twice to ensure you don’t cut out a hole that puts the light where it won’t fit. I put BD S2s on my rear bumper.

I really like both the Rigids & the Baja Designs. I might have ordered the wrong thing. The outside dimensions of the surface mount Rigids are 4.9 x 3.5 inches and I'm guessing I'll need about a 3-3.25 inch square hole. I sure hope there's enough room for the hole.
Did you wire yours to the OEM reverse lights or put them on a separate switch in the cab?

I have all my lights wired to my sPOD. Made my own wiring harness and routed it forward to the engine compartment where the circuit board is located.

Yeah, in front of the cup holders. Had a flush mount 3D printed for it.

Do you have a photo of where you mounted those rigid lights? I’m trying to find something tucked out of the way but bright.
