Full turn barely kissed the liner carpet. Folded and creased with my hand, 10 second fix no rubbing. I didn't flex but looks to have plenty of clearance everywhere.

How was it fishing the spoiler lights through the tailgate to the taillights?

As I was installing the recovery hooks, I probably should have used some kind of Loc-Tite? In retrospect it’s bothering me that I did not. Might disassemble and install next weekend if anyone thinks it wise. Or tell me I’m crazy and it’s fine.

Test drove a '23 Plat with 13k on the clock. Really like the truck and the deal is good, but can't really justify to the wife spending $20k from my paid off '18 Plat on the benefit.

Well then. You should probably buy a ‘24 or ‘25 and spend $35k.

But honey, it’s new. The old is almost 7 years old and fully depreciated. The accountant said so.’

    You are welcome!

Oh, back on topic. I did first oil change at 3750 miles. Then washed her.

    Just some small stuff.

APS running boards from Amazon. $209. 6 inches wide. Basic, but solidly built aluminum.

Gator SRX soft roll up tonneau from Realtruck. $239. Got here in two days from click to order to arrival. Low profile, easy install. Not sure about how water resistant it is. It looks good and will keep my bed from getting filled with leaves and snow and other things.

No name mud flaps from Amazon. $25. They sit pretty low. Combined with running boards, sides of truck won't be caked with dirt mud snow as much.

Meso customs rear light. Huge improvement over stock. Stock unit has 4 LED's. This one has 40. Iphone photo overplays it a tiny bit, but not much. This thing is bright. I have the map light units, but haven't put them in yet.

Also got this trim piece. Covers up that nasty piano black crap. It looks like it came from the factory. Really good match.

On my way to work today, about 1/2 a mile to destination and got dash notification to check tire pressure immediately. Fortunately there was a gas station close so whipped in, jumped out of truck and I immediately heard the hissing sound of air leaving my driver side back tire. Found a large metal thing sticking out of center tread. No way I was going to make it anywhere before complete flat so woohoo changing a tire at 5:45am CT (in the dark). Let me tell you, I had never experienced spare tire swap on a Tundra before so I learned alot in a short time. Finally got spare on and made it to work. Later, I went to Discount Tire down the road and they said it was a wheel weight stuck in the tire and was not repairable. To make matters they didn't have a suitable replacement(stock Bridgestone Dueler H/T) and would have to order one. I barely have 10K miles on these and it hasn't even been a year since I bought the truck but I was already looking at upgrading to some new AT tires anyway soooo

TLDR - Today I got 4 new Cooper Discoverer ATP II - Pics coming soon.

PS I am glad I had watched YouTube videos on the subject before it happened. ;)

You will be happier the stock tires are really 3/4 tires ordered by Toyota for epa estimates. I ditched my neutered at3w at 5k and bought real at4ws.

I sure hope so. I wasn't quite ready to pick new tires because I wanted to drop down to 18" or 17" wheels(which I hadn't settled on yet) but life interfered and forced my decision.

Got the Rave Off-Road lightbar bracket and TRD lightbar installed. My kids were acting up so I wasn’t able to get it wired in. I’ll have to finish it while they’re at school haha.
