We were planning on the January run but the old mans rig won't be ready it looks like. Currently planning on T2P if it all lines up then maybe Baja later in the year or Vegas to Reno/ our own run with a group.

Crazy. I got 47k out of my last set of Duratracs. They didn't look anything like that!

Hey, they didn’t say HOW untuned that LT setup would be…. I’m sure the 8100/8112 is a fine set of boingers, but I’d be hard pressed to believe that they (or any MT setup) can remotely keep up with a decent LT. Even without bypasses.

Will they run with the big dog MT setups from King, Fox, ADS, etc? I’d imagine so. But LT? C’mon…

All of my standard smartass comments aside, I’d be interested in the differences with the new Billies. I’ll be due for a rebuild on my ADS shocks soon enough, and want as much insight as I can get before that happens.

What is going on in these new shocks? I haven’t read anything about them, mostly because I figure reviews are too often biased.

Thanks brother. I now have all the parts for my install, too bad I have 17 more days at work and only 5 days off to try and get it all put on before I have to go back to work for another 15 days. And only 2 of those days of the 5 days off are business days, so trying to get a shop to do ot so quickly is going to be a problem. Ugh... what to do?

The 9th brother, the 9th. Got appt set up and just waiting to head home from the patch on the 6th so I can get all this mud off the truck and get her detailed and gussied up. Then load up all the components and snag my new rims and tires that are already mounted and balanced, then head 3.5hrs to drop the truck off to finally after a 3.5 month long wait, get it all installed. Whuuweeee. I am ready already!!!!

Well everything is installed on the truck, but only a few highway miles for now. The true ride and handling comparison will happen once I go back on hitch in the next 5 days.

But I will say this, my boy Brandin at 4LoFab in New Braunfels Texas is hands down the most phenomenal dude to do business with. Beyond professional and hands down best customer service experience ever. The dude is passionate about what he does and he did a stellar job on my truck. He's earned my business for life. Oh, and the BMC is perfection at its best, just check the signature brand on the weld in plate.

More updates will come within the next week when I get the chance to take her off-road.

But for now these are the best pictures I could get due to all the stormy weather in my area.

Yes sir. New Braunfels was a 3.5 hour drive from were I live, but I'll drive were ever I need to for beyond professional and quality craftsmanship. Brandin came highly recommended.

If you ever need anything done or know someone else who might just hit Brandin up at 4LoFab. His work will not disappoint, and his prices are beyond reasonable for the quality of work he provides.

Did it handle on road better? Steer different? Just curious if it's also night and day on pavement.

    Looks great!

Well in the last 3 days I have driven the truck 12+ hours and with all that windshield time I can honestly say that it is beyond a night and day difference from stock suspension.

Steering is butter smooth. Two fingers on the Steering wheel in heavy I35 DFW traffic and she stayed laser straight no matter what the asphalt threw at me, potholes, uneven lanes, humps, etc. I couldn't even feel the road deficiencies.

So yes it handles way better on road. Soaks up any bumps to the point of not even noticing or feeling them and the Steering was like being on rails.

And I am in love with the new look and stance. Its exactly what i was visualizing. Not extreme on the tire poke and not extreme on the lift. Its picture perfect in my eyes and functional.

I suggest checking out Ironman 4x4 America. No extra reservoirs to deal with. Checkout Tinkerer’s Adventure on Youtube as he occasionally talks about Ironman suspension products on his channel. They have a good price point and warranty on their products.
