    Anyone swap the USB to a USB-C and still use Apple CarPlay? Searched but nothing.

    Check the build link in my signature.
    I tried using a newer USB-C port but had no luck. There’s more going on with the electronics in those ports and 2-way communication between the port and the HU.

    It’s easy enough to do for the two charging-only ports but not the data port.

    My Pixel 7 Pro barely charges in my Tundra when Android Auto is used. Shutting off the screen helps tremendously. My 24 Civic is the same.
