I'm not a huge fan of sweets either but I would would've eaten a couple of those as well.

 

Forgot to post this yesterday morning. Pic of a basin and the overnight fresh they received.

 

My wife ended up on that carousel of "free" Hello Fresh meals and we couldn't get off it for a while. I was disappointed.

The "4 person" meals are barely 2-3 servings.
Produce quality is suspect at best.
All the recipes call for way too much oil. You can cut the amount in half and they're still too oily.
Their idea of "fast and easy" is to chop up whole potatoes then bake them for an hour to make "fries".

 

Hello fresh was $30 for a hamburger helper meal with fresher ingredients. Not impressed. They send the recipe cards out, they are nice and well sorted. Save them and do your own shopping for ingredients if you really enjoy the meals. They are also smaller portions, but we could probably all use smaller portions.

 

All this talk about aches and pains, I swear I get them just from aging.

Yeah, that's what we do. We've even gone to their website and gotten a few recipes that way, mostly just to try to find new ideas for meals to cook.
