I'm trying my hardest to dodge carbs. I'm fat and hoping to avoid the 'beetus. Need to start exercising.

 

Just because a place markets themselves as healthy does not make it so. It's an over priced deli with salads. And another chain restaurant I can't stand. I think I've eaten there twice and the last time will be my last.

 

Crazy times. Not hard to fool a bunch of fools these days.

 

Panera is nasty

everything is cold or stale.

 

If you want to get down to the truth of it, unless it's fresh food it's just not that good for you. All the processing and chemicals isn't good for us. The more raw/natural you can eat the better off you'll be. I'm finally starting to try and get back to that habit. I just hate cooking because I'm a lazy POS. LOL

 

So @T-Rex266 , are you becoming more ambidextrous? Seized the opportunity to build those pathways in the brain?

I know single friends of mine who swear by mail delivery meals. Takes the shopping and meal planning part out of it. Definitely not cheap but adds convenience to those who are lazy.

Since you're a Panera expert.... what ended up happening w/their alleged tax waiver in CA. I had heard there was a huge tax increase this past year or whatever, but for some unknown reason the governor was giving them an exemption

That’s what I heard as well. Minimum wage increases for all fast food places except those with “a bakery”. Which Panera does

 

I haven't seen many movies either, but have read the books.

Only star wars I ever saw was the 1st star wars. I read the book before seeing the movie and found my imagination is better than the movie directors.
