Is there a audiophile thread in this Forum that has all audio & entertainment related threads graphs & charts.
I'm about to embark on a complete stereo upgrade and I don't know the door speaker sizes plus images would be great for ideas.

In my 2012 I put the JL Audio 13TW5 behind the rear seat and went with 6.5 Hertz Mille components up front. I used a Sony head unit with an Hertz 5 channel amp and went active crossovers and dynamatted the shit out of everything and it was an absolute banger.

I'm too old 52 for really loud music all time but I would like to clear things up to maybe 800W total ÷ 4 door speakers. Or when I had my Taco a 300w 6x9 door speaker X2 and a 10" Kicker sub in a box fed from a 700W Kenwood amp & Pioneer stereo...on the rear floor sounded very nice imo.

Yes not all at one time since my stereo now works ok. Id like some 300w 3way door speakers via a 4 or 5 channel amp 5 channel only cause idk how 4 door speakers alone will sound vs 4 door speakers and a 10 or 12" subw wil sound.
If I get a 4 ch only then it's door speakers only. Id like to buy my components one or two at at a time till complete then install.

So I installed an aftermarket head unit and some 10” subwoofers, the only thing missing were my mids so I swapped out the stock 6x9’s and the 6.5’s but when I went to connect them to the amp it sounded distorted! I’m looking for any guidance. I’ve been looking up videos on YouTube but only videos are for the oem head unit!!
