I doubt that’s the problem. The rear MESO lights come on just fine either the approach illumination

I did not take it as meso telling you to eat shit. To me it sounded a lot more like Meso saying look we did not anticipate this being an issue (they probably should have but did not) however since you guys have pointed out the issue and we have confirmed it. We will allow you to return the item no questions asked or you can keep the item and deal with how it works. That is not the best solution but it's probably the best they are gonna offer which to me isn't bad certainly not enough for me to sit talk Meso. If you installed your new lights and threw the oem parts away that's on you imo.

its not just that...we now have a nice hole on each of the front map lights...so if we return it, because it doesn't work as OEM like they said they would "These lights will replicate the factory functions" @ 5:45, we will be left with a janky setup. This should've been disclosed.

Meso is not allowing anything. They are making it easier on themselves. If they don't take back, the credit card dispute will cost them more. Who is paying shipping on the return? We know who it should be.

I don't really have a horse in the race I couldn't care less about the delay and I don't have the approach lights on cause I think it's stupid. I saved all my oem parts and the 2 holes I drilled for the map lights when the oem covers go on no one will know those holes are there. For those of you that care about these things I really do wish you good luck getting a solution you are happy with. I do hope meso covers your shipping so you will have nothing to complain about.

Correct. Used to leave one map light red and one white on 2.5 gen Tundra (even split the rear dome light) and they would stay exactly as you left them on start-up.

...unrelated to the lights but just received my Meso fob ! Very nice imo and the buttons are slightly regressed so looks much harder to have the accidental tailgate down happen as some have mentioned with the oem fob.

Not really an issue for me, I rather live with the delay than have to deal with the OEM bulbs that are as bright as cigarette butts

I never said I threw away my OEM parts. That would be stupid.

My bitch with Meso is that these were supposed to be form, fit, function replacements for the OEM lights. They are not.

In my opinion, there was a big miss with the product development that I found, told them about, helped them trouble shoot and it appears they don’t have any intention of remedy. That just blows! So the trade off is more light for less functionality.

    Buyer beware moving forward!
