So I got my LED bulbs in today.. great, right?

Well, i think I've messed up. First, I got it installed and it came on fine (driver's side). But then I realized the bulb was too wide (the glass part) and the silver reflector inside wouldn't fit around it. I apparently pushed too hard and the connector moved up inside. I was able to pull them back down, but now no bulb (factory or LED) will work in it.

    1) What have I done and how can i fix it?
    2) If i do get it working again, can I just leave the reflector out?

You may have separated/widened the connector. I did the same thing. Used a small jewellers' screwdriver to re-shape/re-position the connector to get a good contact again. A definite PITA.

Ouch. You can try to fix it, but it may need a whole new inside piece you can get from @TRDSparks

Finally got them all installed, much easier in the light and after knowing what I was doing. The one I originally messed up had to be reshaped (connectors) with some tiny pliers and it's not holding real tight but working for now.

    Thanks for the help!!

I was able to get connectors back to normal. The metal was very pliable. (Kind of cheesy actually). That's why it was so easy to fix.
