I would have liked to have seen them back before they started charging $500 or however much for tickets.

I have seen Megadeth and Testament each twice so I guess that will have to do.

 

I was trying to make a pipe bomb, but it exploded in my hands. There's a life lesson in there somewhere, but I just can't put my finger on it.

 

I do it all the time - my lawnmower has a beer holder and I buy screw tops where you can sip, put the lid back on, and keep mowing so you don't get clippings and dust in your beer

 

I saw them in Austin on the Ride the Lightning tour. Awesome (except for Armored Saint, who sucked) and it was probably under $20 for tickets. They lost me after MoP, though.

 

I paid $25 in ‘92 for the black album tour - my first concert. I paid a lot more than that for this show…

 

Applied Fluid Film for the first time last night, that was a messy job.

Vacuumed out the frame channel first and wiped it down.
Really like how it brings back the black look of the frame.

They played PHX last year… which is close to the surface of the sun.

we originally went to that show but the second night got postponed due to James getting Covid so we ended up buying tix to this show (closer to home too).

 

Think I have seen them 9-10 times now. Need to sit down with the Googles and figure it out.

This tour is my last concert. It served two purposes. Metallica was my son’s first concert about 8 years ago; this tour was my daughter’s first concert. And the playlist included my favorite song (two actually) that they have never played at previous concerts.

Metallica has enough of my money and I really haven’t enjoyed their music since the Black album (1991). It was amazing to watch the stadium basically go still and quiet when they played songs from their latest album. Both nights. Excluding the 4-5 songs they played from the new album, most of the two-night set was from ‘91 and prior. Plus the audio and visuals were disappointing on so many levels.

 

That chick at 48 seconds appears to have potentially suffered some internal injuries... I'm going to need to confirm or dispel that damage occurred

Today I was a passenger. My 15 yo drove me to a river, rowed me down it then drove me home. Today was a good day.

 

This is pretty much why I quit going to concerts. I just don't see the value in them anymore.

 

I've never been to a concert in my life.
