Yup. Was dealing with a real crappy, and I'm guessing, fairly new insurance adjuster. He prolonged everything and cost them more money in the long run. He's since been replaced as of yesterday morning.

I hope so. The new adjuster seems much easier to work with.

Moving the Apache Trail run talk here and out of Jake’s build thread. Abby has a tournament 9/21-22 but a weekend in Sept or October would be good.

I don’t think the 88 is opening until the end of Sept though.

Yeah I didn’t get the feeling it’d be ready for while still. When ADOT says a month, I figure it’s 6+

@TRDFerguson @BiggHertz or anyone else in the East Valley,

@Mrs. WBW and I are needing to replace the tint on our vehicles and would like to get nano ceramic. Do any of you have a recommendation for a good shop to use? Do you have any pointers or important info that we may find useful?

    Thank you in advance.

I've had great luck with both

    https://xpelscottsdale.com/ and https://cactustint.com/

Both offer XPEL Prime XR Plus (installed on the truck), but for my Lexus I wanted to try a different film "Prestige Spectra PhotoSync IRD" which has some additional rejection properties over the XPEL Prime XR Plus film and went to Cactus tint to give it a try. Overall pretty happy with both films.

I haven’t had any tint done in a while so can’t help out here, but sounds like Jason has you pointed in the right direction. I still need to get better tint put on mine so let us know your experience with wherever you go.

Have to admit - I didn’t see them leading the MLB in runs scored - that’s pretty crazy considering the payroll.

They definitely got the best of the Gurriel Moreno for Varsho trade with Toronto. The teams have gone in diverging directions since that trade.

Almost time for the 1st game of the season. Should be interesting with new conferences and coaches, hopefully the U of A can keep it together after a good year last year, kept most of the players, but new coaching staff. Should be interesting to see, but one thing is certain, ASU will still suck.

Last time I was in AZ hiking around I noticed there was no small Saguaros, say 2-5 inches in height. That was 2014 and we stayed on BLM land for three months and it struck us there was no small Saguaros to replace the older giants. We hiked many miles around Phoenix and Tucson, saw a few 1-2 foot Saguaros.

We were thinking those nasty little invasive specie javelinas were feasting on the seedlings.

That's because they grow so slowly. That 2' one you saw might be near 20 years old.

https://www.nps.gov/sagu/learn/nature/how-saguaros-grow.htm#:~:text=Saguaros are a very slow, eight years of its life.

I guess I've never really looked for them. I've lived here all my life, so cactus in general is just normal.

We lived in Mesa in the 90's and took them for granted, then snowbirding that winter 2014 and having not much to do on BLM land we hiked and we noticed there isn't any little guys. I'm no AZ expert but seems to me putting 1+1 together the invasive javelina coincides with Saguaro decline. I'd varmint hunt them, I doubt they add anything positive to AZ.
