I am ready to purchase a cold air intake and computer programmer for my 2014 Crewmax 4x4. Looking for suggestions on what brand are best fitted for my truck as for as performance and fuel mileage.

Save your money on the CAI as it already is from the factory. Look into a drop in filter (i run AFE pro dry S), doing the SABM (stock air box mod) and the Hypertech tuner.

All the above for around the same price as a CAI with improved performance you will notice and love. Do some shopping for the best deal. Usually find a deal on the hypertech for around $300.

Aftermarket CAIs only help in high rpm situations....how often do you hit redline in everyday situation? Exactly.

If you want to clean up the engine bay and burn some cash, look into the AFE super stock: http://afepower.com/shop/details_new.php?partno=55-12550&print=true

Leveled, Peragon bed cover. Yep that's it!
I've heard lots of talk about the hyper tech tuner and the bully dog tuner. Did you compare both and if so what made you buy the hyper tech tuner?

Sway bar, BA Muffler, Hypertech Int, sumo springs,
I bought a Hypertech for my new 2015 about a month ago. I will let you know how it goes later after field testing. Also put on a BA Muffler and got the Hypertech from Keith at BA for just over $300.

I installed the Hypertech with the speedometer calibrator about a week ago in my 2015 Crewmax and love it so far. Its more responsive and holds gears longer when I get on it. I used to average about 13.6 and so far Im at 14.8 mpgs according to the stock gauges.

I did research on both before I installed the Hypertech and what turned me off from the bully dog tuner was that it actually writes code on top of your stock ECU files rather than swapping out the files like the edge products do. So if you ever want to revert back to stock it sounded like you would have to backup the stock files rather than the unit doing it for you. Not really sure what this would do for the warranty as well. I know the hypertechs wont void any warranties and if the dealer gives you shit about it, just unplug it and theres no trace of it ever being there. Plus the Hypertechs are dyno'd with proven power to the wheels, not the fly like most other products.
