Do I need new UCAs with a 3 inch lift? I've always been told 4.5" or higher but this salesman told me anything over 2.5.
Not sure if he's legit or just trying to sell me an extra 500$ worth of parts.

Chitttttt.. I got 7 inches of lift now and I have stock UCA. Mine rides fine bro... I think if you do aftermarket Coilovers , most of the time you'll need aftermarket UCA. I've read online that most Coilovers will say stock UCA will not fit ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Lol, 0 fucks, eh.
I'm gonna pick up the 3" Boss from toytec. It comes with shocks/new coilovers but I ain't trying to spend the extra money unless I have to.

I'll just ask that toytec dude that's always on here.
    Thanks bro.

It'll work but you probably won't be able to get your caster in spec.

I have the total Chaos ones. It helped for sure during alignment. More rugged piece of hardware than stock.

You don't NEED them, but would get your alignment back up to spec and ride better!

I have stock UCA's with my Toytec BOSS setup. About to get some Camburg's pretty soon.

A little of this and a little of that.
I’ve got 3.5” and aftermarket UCA’s. I had to get them. At the time there were other reasons I wanted them as well.

@Jsena has larger spindles, that's why he can run stock UCA's. Stock spindles and aftermarket coilovers above 3", you'll absolutely need them.

I ran mine without for about 80000 km. No realm damage done, but definitely noticed some tire wear on the outside edge more than the inside. Very important to keep rotating the tires. I bought UCAs when i got new tires and so far they are wearing a lot better.
