Hi, I have a 2006 double cab and I’m looking for a nice looking roof rack. I’ve seen so many for access cabs but none did doubles. Id like a flat top or cage that can take up a majority or all the space the roof has to offer. If you guys know of any I’d love some advice on where to look! Thanks!

I’ve used Yakima Track that’s through bolted to the roof of my Scion xB, then cross bars and a basket attached to it. I’ve had well over 1000lbs of construction materials on the roof before. It’s a pretty stout system.

This question comes up way too much. Like someone else just asked in the last 48-72 hours. And I know the answer is here. I swear @Sunnier or @FrenchToasty indulged folks but I’m too lazy to search, so I’m just going to randomly tag ppl instead.

I'm looking to put a basket on my bed cap, you know, for lotion....... I have rails already but they run parallel to my truck and not adjacent. I don't know if I should take the rails off and mount a basket that way or mount it to the rails that are already on there. Any ideas?

You're asking the 1st gen subforum for help on camper shells? :D

You may want to start over here, the mods keep conversations pretty compartmentalized, for your convenience: https://www.tundras.com/forums/tonneau-covers-caps-and-shells.68/
