    Greetings from California

Just ordered parts to mod my 2017 Tundra. This sight was instrumental in helping make some decisions, so I figured Id make an account and one day I may be able to pay it forward.

Came from moderately lifted ZJs (95 and 98 Jeep grand cherokees) used as daily drivers, off road play things and hunting rigs.

Picked up a 2017 SR5 Tundra in 2020. Haven't done much to it other than maintenance. Just ordered the 6112/5160 with coach builder +2 shackles.

Looking forward to what everyone else has in terms of experience and adventures

    Take care

    Shaw

So my (265/70/18) Bridgestone duelers need replacement and I've always leaned towards BFG KO2/MT3 tires for my jeeps and priced out some new skins at the American tires co. Couldnt believe how much more expensive tires are now!!!

I was lucky enough to search craigslist on the same day and I scored a nice set of KO2s (275/70/17) on method 305 NV (+0mm) with about 90% tread still on it and paid about 1/2 the price I would have new.

The KO2 rubbed on the front mud flap at full lock. Easy enough to remove. This is what got me looking at level kits. And theno........Down the rabbit whole.

Do I spacer level for cheap ? No that doesn't feel right. Icon stage 8? Too much $$$. OME BP-51 felt right but still too much$ for the moment.

I Settled on bilstien 6112/5160 with coach bullilder +2 shackles and a driver side shim kit. I'll see where this gets me and then decide if I can can swing bigger tires and bumper without a better suspension

This is my setup. 6112’s on top setting. Rides good, looks good. No diff drop needed. Used to love BFG KO2’s. Never again after balance issues. Too many other choices out there.

I did 6112 on 3rd notch for 1.9” lift, one shim on drivers side, CB+2 shackle in rear. I’ve run that setup for the last 5 years and 67k miles. Love it.
