GD it haha no idea how I missed this. I missed the last group buy too about a year ago

 

So I think I just got the approval for a 1 day extension for someone else, just waiting for the new code. If you want in we can get you in, but you need to be ready to buy and send me all your info asap

 

Got mine yesterday! Will probably not be able to start on it til next weekend. Haven’t opened it yet but it’s packaged pretty well. Doubt too much could really damage it anyways!

Started assembly tonight. Never ran a mig welder in my life so I practiced for about an hour on some scrap. I’m using a 115volt miller 130 welder. Using flux core .030 from harbor freight. Seems to perform pretty well. I’ve only ever stick welded with 7014 and 6010 rod. MiG is so much easier.

Got the main bracket welded up. Took me a solid hour an a half. I hopefully will be able to get my old bumper off and relocate the power steering cooler Friday. Will tack the rest of the bumper together then take it off. Probably go to my work and weld the long welds with their nicer 240v welder.

I was very intimidated at first but it is going pretty easy so far…

 

just going to follow this thread in case they come out with a rear bumper... and waiting for the next sale for the front bumper...
