IMG_0350.jpg IMG_0351.jpg IMG_0352.jpg Swapped out intake tubes. Already have AFE Prodry air filters and charcoal filters ripped out. Will report back on how it sounds and does. AFE makes a similar setup which is what I should have gone with and would of been a little cheaper too.

Is this just a sound thing? Or does their dyno show some gains ?

I think AFE has some numbers, I could be wrong. I haven’t dropped the hammer down yet. Normal cruising it does seem a little more responsive.

I noticed a tiny bit of a sound increase...nothing like when I removed the carbon pillows though

A little update on the morning drive. No noticeable change in turbo noise that I noticed. Throttle seems a bit more responsive in normal mode. My trip average remained the same. Wasn’t expecting much. Haven’t floored it yet.

They look cool and if they make fun noises that's great...if you actually want more power you will need a piggyback ecu from Stillen or JB4. The Stillen is completely plug and play, 2 under hood connections and takes literally 10 minutes to install. You must run 93 Premium on any map over 1 there is 0-7. You can switch maps from your phone on the app or under the hood with a simple button push. I think JB4 requires 1 connection into the cabin through a grommet. Map 7 is probably 7 psi more boost than stock. Cost not much more than the cold air setup from AFE or Stillen about $650. 10x the gains 5x less labor...yes I have both Stillen intakes and exhaust but not yet installed...having too much fun in stealth mode with no extra noise right now

I know bolt on alone won’t do justice. It needs a tuner. At some point after warranty is up I may consider. I’m hoping to get tig weld creations exhaust next.
