I tried a EV for a DD, and I just can't deal with it anymore. I also need a truck so i'm going to trade it in for a used Tundra

I'm primarily looking at 18-21 2nd Gens to get the 5.7, but does anyone have a 3rd Gen with the TT V6? Can we expect typical Toyota longevity with it?

I asked this on the 4Runner forum and was referenced to come here, so i'm happy to join

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! LOTS of discussion on here about whether the 3rd Gens will meet Toyota's quality standard. The engine issues are one thing, but several have mentioned the cheap plastic breaking on the side of the driver's seat, and maybe a couple of other issues. I think Toyota is improving with every new year of the 3rd Gens, but they definitely had room to grow.
