New Tundra owner here - was a RAM guy for the last 15 yrs. Now - TUNDRA all the way! My brother bought one about the same time as my last RAM, he has had zero issues with the truck or the dealers. RAM - Issues from 3rd month. Still had over 5 that they never solved when I traded it in! Tundra - feels and drives like a truck! Mileage is not the greatest but your driving a full size kick ass, look getting truck! My brother is pissed because his older and plain - Had this brought in from a couple states over sight unseen - It is a CREWMAX SR5 in Inferno, SS Step Rails, spray in liner, TRD Package. I REALLY want to black out everything I can (Not a chrome guy) and the flat black looks so bad ass against the Inferno color. Anyway - Thats my intro -

Welcome! Great color! I have dechromed mine and love it! Plastidip is a beautiful thing on the badges.

How does one go about dechroming? I MUST do that!

    Also want to add
    TRD Rear Sway
    TRD Exhaust
    Tint Front windows
    Under Seat Storage
    Sill Protectors
    Bed Rug - or?
    Bed Cover - Suggestion's?_________________________
    Seat Heaters
    Remote Start
After these I will look at lift/level and rims and tires -

Anyone ever do a full rear window graphic? How do they look? Do they get buggered by the up and down?

So as far as RAM issues go - Not only did I have multiple issues that after 28mo still went unfixed - The service is horrid!
Blew a sidewall in the first 90 miles - 200$ Grrrrrrrrr Obvious it was a defect - still cost me though
I had issues with the blower motor, cruise control not turning on - or OFF!!!! Had front and rear suspension issues that are a mystery to all -
Piller emblems reinstalled 4 times and they got progressively worse!!
Radio would start and play randomly if phone was connected - dealer fix was - do not connect phone unless making a call!
Brakes went at around 20k tires right after -
So many squeaks when the windows were down, felt like I had my old 67 back on the road! Embarrassing!!!!

Get some plastidip and paint the badges black. Also contact @Roman for some inferno front bumper ends and grill. I have the sway bar and love it. I have the trd dual exhaust and love that even more. You won't be disappointed in either. And you can install both on your own.

Mike - Thanks for the response. Do you do it on the truck or remove them, and if removed - How to and what do you use to put them back on?
