I took my rack and pinion out to center it. Sadly, I forgot to center my steering wheel after I had to turn it for extra room getting the tie rod out. Has this happened to anyone and what is the best COA?

Just changed my rack over the weekend. You need to get an alignment done. The tie rods will need to be turned with the wheel straight.

It's in the FSM. The entire process to re-center. You have a copy of the FSM for your truck, right? It's freely available online, there's links in the megathread to get your own copy.

IIRC when the steering shaft is disconnected the rack no longer limits turns of the steering wheel and you have to be careful not to damage the clock spring.

How far off is it? If it's way off, like half way off you may be better off pulling the steering wheel off and lining it back up.
This happened to me on my side by side. Put in a new rack and used the mark they said was the center mark. It was not a center mark so had to re-center as I could hardly turn at all and then pull the steering wheel and re-allign it.
