Track your Tundra when in "F" status on the train

For the "Hold Status: Not on Hold" ---does that mean it is not on a QC hold or the allocation is not reserved? Because according to my dealer the allocation is reserved/held for me. Between tracking the freighter myself on marinetraffic.com and getting updates on sites like this, it's crazy what the sales people don't know.

Correct, Hold status typically updates if there's an issue with transport or QC. It's also marked presold but I don't see anything outside of the notification showing it's presold. Typically that means they've put a name on it to reserve it for that customer.

Sales people are typically clueless, you get the good ones now and then that will pull up this stuff and send it on.

That's mine. I was totally sent a screenshot of the progress tracker for a different VIN. I questioned him because the ship and land dates didn't seem to be correct but was assured it was mine. ....at least I know what I am talking about.

Not common at all. There could be a dozen reasons why, all speculation until the rail yard is contacted, unfortunately. Could range from damage, to a flash update, to they just missed it. Your best option is to have your dealer contact the regional rep, who then can contact the shipping/rail yard and see what's going on with it.

@bobbilly are you able to check for Canadian orders? My dealer said my order has been fulfilled. He said Toyota has accepted the order and will begin to build the order soon. Do you know. when I will get the VIN normally?

 

So I just put down a deposit on a Tundra that is expected to arrive in mid-December. I found it online and got in touch with the dealer and we did the deal. I’m curious as to how you get an account and track your order? Do I just download the Toyota app, create an account and enter the VIN or am I to expect an email from Toyota with instructions? TIA!

 

Unfortunately I'm unable to track Canadian inventory.

Only way that I know of currently is to have someone at a dealership track it for you. Most put the VIN in this thread and I'll send a screen shot similar to above
