No doubt everyone is different when making their goals and carrying them out to fruition. And i respect that, so no judgement here. Some people talk about their goals with other in order to be accountable. Others are just the opposite. I don't care either way, and i'll support whoever 100% in their goals, but if the person only talks about making their goals and doesn't take a step to make it happen year after year after year, well...that's all on them and i don't really want to hear it anymore. I'm totally cool with people who try and fail. At least they tried.

When my dad has always talked about going to the gym, i've responded in every single way imaginable. It doesn't matter anymore though. He has let his health decline so much over the years that his doctor now doesn't want him going to the gym to lift any sort of weights (i talked to his doc a couple weeks ago). I suggested to my dad that he could join the "water works" swimming pool class (it's for old people and people with injuries, strokes, ect), but it's not masculine enough for him.

Ironic that a human can live for up to 2~3 months without food, but our brain can tell us that we're starving after just 3 hours of no food.

 

You may want to re-word that... I fully understand the spirit of what you were trying to say, but this is the Internet and someone at some point in time may see that and think...
