Finally getting around to getting bed cover on my 2018 Tundra. Planning for trifold to allow full access to bed but interested to hear other preferences. Leaning towards Rough Country trifold but interested to hear others feedback on various brands. Would love feedback on ease of installation and how dry your model keeps bed? Thanks in advance for any input

Soft or hard? I had the soft tri fold from Tyger for about 3 years and it held up through all types of weather.

I don't think there is a lot of difference between them.

I've had my Undercover Flex for around 7 years.
They replaced the first one under warranty because the seams in the middle were leaking just before the warranty ran out.

They noted 'Oh you have the old style we'll send you a new one'.
    No issues since then.
It leaks a little at the front in heavy rain.
A little at the tailgate in a car wash.

It is very easy to remove if needed.
I used some lawn irrigation parts for my drain tubes.
If I did it over again I'd put the drain holes on the top of the gasket instead of the bottom.

Another thing that is important is the mounting.
My 2014 didn't come with a bed rail system and on one side the clamps kept coming loose when I closed the cover.
After buying the rail system and Undercover sent me the rail clamps for free, it is much better and more secure.

I'd buy it again, or maybe a Retrax like I had on my 2005 since I have a double cab.
A Retrax probably doesn't make sense in a CrewMax since the can is so big.

I considered a Diamondback, but to was too much cover for my needs..

    Good luck..

I have a Fold-a-Cover on my 2019 CM. I heard they went out of business though.

I chose this cover because of the latch/striker locking system. I believe it’s the most secure system for trifolds. Something you may consider while shopping around.
