Couldn't agree more. Say I own a business, and I have one goal in mind: make as much money as I can. How would I best accomplish that goal? Hire the best people for any given position, regardless of appearance.

We do it for health. the human body is an adaptation machine. it beautifully adapts to whatever stresses placed upon it.

we become exceptional. more capable. and are generally happier.


I get the "do whatever makes you happy" thing. and I am tolerant.

I'm 5'5", my legs are a couple inches too short for my torso but I have long arms for my height. I have more reach than The Woman who is 5'6". The '21 Ford is just as uncomfortable as my '13 was.

 

If it's summer and I'm not at work or working around the property, I'm usually in flippy floppies

 

Tattoos; I've got a few, want a lot more. The stigma is long gone.

Neck and especially face ink does still limit your employment opportunities, hopefully it stays that way

 

What if I'm taking the garbage out to the bin in summer? Or hanging out in my back yard? Or hanging around my campsite?

 

I have no tats for the same reason I wouldn't put a bumper sticker on a Ferarri.

I kind of want a tattoo or two but I kind of don't too. Regardless of what folks say, I do think people at work might judge you, depending on the size and what and where it is. I also feel like these days not having a tattoo makes you more unique than having one does.

 

Flip flops are the only kind of sandals I have. I bought them to use at the lake/beach and then figured I don't need to waste money on real sandals if I already have these.
