Tough to narrow it down to 1, but let’s hear it.
Best/Favorite Mod= Waterport shower mounted to accessory rail. Weather tech sun shades for all windows.
Worst/least used mod= rear facing light bar and led bulbs in visors mirrors (blinding!)

Best=Seat Jackers from DesertDoesIt (Because my very basic SR seats only go forward and backward otherwise)
Worst=About 20 different versions of cheap phone clips/holders

(I'm in a dormant season of mods with 3 kids going through college. The list is oh so long...)

Thanks for clarifying…I had supercharger on my list and glad to see it’s clearly the best thing for the truck lol.

I’ve had good luck with Ram mounts. I also have the Rago center dash panel so mounting could be different from a stock location.

Have heard good things on the RAM mounts. Might be a selection to come down the road.

Worst: my homemade brackets to mount my unswingable swing case to the bed rail (later replaced with some Rago mounts after finally coming across them in some thread)

    Worst: After market wheels.

For the wheels- They look nice and I like them, no problems. But as I am getting older, I find myself being drawn more to a clean OEM look. I think I will eventually replace them with a Toyota wheel, there are a lot of decent options out there now.

Close, but I think the dream is still alive with no mods. Once you mod it, and realize it was a dud, only shame and defeat remain lol.

I’ve been toying with the idea of adding a rear sway bar too.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    best:
Harrop S/C...moving from an 85mm pulley down to a 77.5mm pulley made it more bestist.
    rear sway bar
    traction bars

    worst:
oil catch can. it stays empty in the Houston Climate.

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Big help in my case with my ‘21 TRD Pro as I spend 99% of my time on the road as my daily driver. Easy mod as well.

I added the rear sway bar as well, handles better on road. Also did the quick disconnect but haven’t had a chance to use it yet.

TRD RSB, Cat Shield, GCS Trans Cooler, Rago Dash mount, etc
    Best mods:
    1. External Trans Cooler (GCS kit): usual trans fluid temps (pan & TC) diffs are at least 15+. Before I'd usually see 215+ on pan & high as 250+ on TC. After install, 195-205 on pan, no higher than 225 on TC. This is driving without pulling anything. I was on the fence, but after our cross-country trip last summer (NJ-CA), no brainer, since we also plan to get a travel trailer soon.
    2. TRD rear sway bar: From the initial test drive "floaty feeling, esp on curves or corners" to "damn, feels great, more planted"
    3. Rago dash mount: more install options for my phone, scanguage 3 and GPS. Plus for the front cam like gopro, etc.
    4. LED bulbs for the front turn signal bulbs and the reverse light bulbs.
    5. Cat shields (Valhalla shields): Just gives me a peace of mind. Esp for the cross country trip we took last year. Our home is in a "safer" area and garage kept, but during the trip we stayed in unknown areas (to us), so I slept more soundly at night during the trip.

    Worst mods:
    1. Those "pads" that you put on the interior surfaces like inside the cup holders, little "card holder" below the shift gate area, etc: They just make it harder to clean those areas, esp if you've dogs. Dog hairs, dust etc just gather\stick to the nooks\crannies of these pads & a pita to clean. I removed them.

    RAS HDover rear sway bar...

w/RAS you'll gain the stability on road that you're after w/o losing the rear wheel articulation that our Pro were engineered to have

it will also help w/axle wrap and provide less squat when the bed is loaded or when you're towing w/o dealing w/air bags or installing a different leaf pack

RAS is adjustable so if you just want stability and less rake (1/2" or so on an unloaded bed) I'm sitting at about OE height w/approximately 300lbs in the bed on a daily basis; but if you want increased compensation for heavier loads, dial it up and most guys are seeing about 1 1/2" (unloaded) give or take and MUCH less squat when loaded heavy or towing

Best: is almost a tossup between the cheapest one and the most expensive one (so far)

The $7 phone mount, or the big-ass Kenwood HU it sits next to.

    20240607_073029.jpg

Worst: No real duds (so far) except maybe the previous phone holder(s).

I'm not really mod crazy, some people like to do mods just for the fun of tinkering... some of the guys on my RV owners forum are nuts and I think have an informal competition going to see who can have the longest list of mods.

I'm just not that motivated and I'd rather go surf or paddle in my spare time, so usually by the time I'm doing a mod I've given it a lot of thought and done my research, so thankfully no clinkers yet... I'm really happy with how everything has turned out.
My mods tend to be about comfort, function, utility. Making my life easier or my driving experience more enjoyable.

I'd love to do some stuff just to trick shit out, but I don't have the time or money for that so I have to choose which hobby or project it goes to... (and it's possible that I have a bit of a surfboard addiction)

    20200726_185106.jpg

The newest hobby ain't gonna' help.

Best: Toss up between bed cover or windshield tint or the 5.29’s. They each provided the functional improvement I wanted.

Worst: I’ll say the black out interior trim kit cause it wasn’t really a functional thing and so it’s just meh

Oh I love my case, I didn’t want to drill into the bed though since I live in Saltvegas. So I fabricated* some TurdGen (HEY-OH!!) brackets to mount to the bed rail.

Yup. This was an impulse buy I did while at the dealer waiting for my truck to be prepped\washed for me to take home. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
