Vivid wrap has some camo that looks really awesome. Im wondering if there are other flares out there that are very similar and I can just wrap them to the camo that I want. Some with marker lights already in them would even be better.

Has any used this new plug and play harness from rave offroad? Looks like an easy install, but then again.. I'm not handy at all lol.

Here is a 5 star review on their website that seem a little suspect...

One question I would ask them if it works with the premium style lights on the upper trims. SR5's typically have the traditional relay driven lights where as the upper trims are canbus driven, so the marker lights may be always on if they are used with a tundra with CANbus.

 

You are correct. I have the front grill TRD markers, and they are always on. I don't mind.

 

making me want to plug in the bumper bar markers now. I only connected the grille bar....not fogs or bumper

I keep seeing August. Rather then wait just to find out they all sell out, I back ordered a set. I’m hoping these actually become available in August and a set gets shipped to me.

 

Harness kit was so easy to install. I highly recommend it!

Appreciate it. Assumed so but wasn't sure if it was deceiving. For whatever reason, OEM for the upper pro bumper is much cheaper than for any other trim. I was hoping I could have it painted black or wrapped. I might just have to add camo elsewhere to make it make sense...

 

Worth the wait imo!

 

Did you wired these up? If so, tips on figuring that one out? Rave sells a harness that works for OEM, $45. A good start, or different beast?

I’ve ordered again via OEM Vehicle part (MA). No status on line - order shows new - call them and goes to VM.

Fingers crossed, I’ll call again in the morning - see if they are actually in stock.
