Stolen 2022

Montreal. Truck was 20 feet from my window at 3:30 AM. I heard it start, window popped, three beeps on the alarm, then they drove it off. Why did they break the rear window? I guess it was a RFID clone, but it could have been a CANBUS theft.

Ideas?

Question: did you have keys in rfid blocker or turned off? I’m considering anti theft approaches like IGLA

Nobody would touch my 2022... Everybody knows the engine may blow, so why risk

 

Everyone with fobs should turn their key off after leaving the vehicle. Hold down lock and push unlock twice. Makes your fob stop sending out the signal. Or use a faraday bag.

 

I don't know why we can't booby trap our trucks, that would help cut down on repeat offenders!

 

I would only hurt myself as I’m a booby.
