2019 Tundra 4X2 Crewmax. Has a lift. 58000 miles. Bought the truck about a month ago. Noise happens occasionally. Sometimes from a stop then moving forward when turning right. Sometimes from a stop then moving forward simply going straight. Not sure if related but truck also pulls right. Any help would be appreciated.

Loose parts or oem parts at max articulation from lift.
    Bad alignment.

Thank you for the reply. What should I be looking for in terms of max articulation from lift? One thing that struck me as odd was the back tires looking to be at max articulation. I'll add some photos.

Depends on what type and size of lift you have. That would help.

I apologize I am not sure what size the lift is but here are some photos.

Do you have a front skid plate?
Might sound weird, but confirm the torque on it.

I had a similar “clunk” noise occasionally when getting out of my driveway, or backing out of anywhere they made the truck articulate. Would go away, but it was annoying. I recently change my suspension out, and the noise is gone so far. I also had lower control ball joints changed out, and my steering rack replaced. Maybe check those parts to see? Hope that helps narrow it down some.

There’s really a lot going on with the lift(s). Looks to be a 6” spindle lift with another 2” spacer stacked on top of the oem shock assembly, with a 6” block in the back.

    Basically a 8” lift.

With that large of a block in back, you’re going to get a lot movement from the axle. Aside from going through every nut and bolt and checking torque, it’s hard to know what’s the culprit as it could be any part of that set up.

Also, here is the skid plate. Missing three bolts/snaps it looks like.

You don’t have a skid plate. Those would just be some retaining screws there. Not bolts. But, either way, there’s no skid plate there to make any noise. I don’t think 2wd trucks came with skid plates.

Check your swaybar links. I had a similar noise on a truck I had a 6" lift on and it ended up being the links on the swaybar. Replaced them and it went away. Easy way to check is just pull the bolts and drive around the block

Wanted to update this thread. Took the truck to a mechanic. They checked the driveshaft and flywheel. Neither was the problem. Ended up being that the transmission mount was loose. They have tightened that and I have not heard the sound since. Hopefully that was the fix. Thank you all for your help.
