Oh boy - this is one of those forums, huh?

Because I'm tall and they make the labels in bright abnormal colors so they're hard to ignore. That means there is constantly an un-ignorable bright ugly thing in my field of view when I drive a $70k truck I just bought and I don't like it.

I've seen hair dryers used on the cloth visors to take them off, but you still have to be careful not to damage the visor. I'm sure you could find something on Youtube as well.

There are tons of videos on Youtube for other cars. Some use alcohol and some use hair dryers. Different cars have different adhesives and usually one works well and the other works terribly. I was trying to find out what works well on the specific adhesive on a 3rd Gen Tundra.

You're the first 3rd Gen owner that has brought this particular situation up.

Yep. It's that kind of forum. You ask for experience with something and you get hit with someone asking why. You answer why and you get hit with people insinuating that you're a complainer.

Hence the post. If it had been covered before I would have found it in search and not created the thread.

I don't think you are complaining. It's never been brought up here yet regarding your inquiry.

Just out of curiosity I googled "truck sun visor covers" and came up with a bunch. Not sure if there's anything Tundra specific but might be worth looking into.

Don’t let Jimmy rustle your jimmies. It’s really not that kinda place around here.

I’ve never heard of people doing this before either, it makes sense but I really never use my visors anyway.

When you get it done, post some B4 and after pics and the method(s) you used. That’s the kinda place this is, or at least, has been for a long time. Oh, and welcome!
