I'm getting my bilstien suspension installed tomorrow. I have a 2019 CM Limited and i was wondering if all the tundras have that lean in the front. I have a 1/4" Boss spacer that i can have the installer put on the left front strut to correct the lean.

Mine did/does. I ran a 1/4" spacer with my last set of 6112's; without it, the lean was definitely noticeable. Even with the spacer, it's still there a little so I'd recommend it. I thought about running different perch settings to compensate but I was told that's not a good idea - supposedly you will reach coil bind/bottom out the shock earlier on one side, but I don't know how true that is.

It’s truck specific. I had everything done but with no lean. Eibach stage2 2r.
Point is each truck seems to be different.

Eibach is a threaded coilover; each side can be adjusted independently to get rid of the lean. That’s what’s I did to remove the lean when I ran Eibachs. The 6112’s are different and use set increment perches; the new black labels are supposed to be side specific but they still had a lean and need the spacer to level it out. I suspect it is partly due to a offer coil so the weight difference exaggerates the lean. Almost all tundras have the lean due to battery, driver, and gas tank on the driver side.

I know but the point is that the lean happens on some trucks but not others. I don’t think it’s directly tied to the new parts but apparently how they bolt up. you can have 2 trucks with 6112 up front set the same but one will have the lean and other will not.

Just have to install everything and set it on the ground and let it settle then make adjustments with shims if necessary.

Thanks for the info. I had my suspension installed today and used (1) 1/4" shim on the drivers side and it seems to be about right.

Not true. Oem springs are color coded and side specific for this specific reason. The driver side spring has a slightly heavier spring rate to accommodate for the lean. It’s due to the 38 gallon fuel tank being on the driver side of the truck. When you remove the original and replace with aftermarket that have the same springs on left and right, you get the lean. It’s a known occurrence, hence the reason these small add on spacers were even created.
