We're working on this and need an extra day to discuss the solution. Thanks for your understanding. I'll be back tomorrow!

This is simple to me as a small business owner as well

Have you box up and ship it back, full refund , then ship you a new unit out for no charge when it’s fixed and ready as a thank you for being an early adopter and going through all that install bs twice

    but that’s just my .02

ya, it’s clear this wasn’t ready for prime time, and that’s ok, shit happens to the best of us.

it’s what you do now that matters. If I were them I would want your unit back to see what the design and or manufacture defects were and then take care of you once our shit was straightened back out .

Not try to patch some shit together now on the back end at the end user, or worse go into the cone of silence

    Well shit.

How are we supposed to know its defective if we don't try to install it?

I don’t think we need to worry about them standing behind it. I bought their entire kit for our trucks that is currently available and unfortunately I’m at 2/3 not being happy with which makes the 3rd (trucontrol) basically a paperweight at this time. Hopefully the intake stuff can get worked out relatively soon as it’s just a QC issue but hopefully this all gets squared away.

Better coms would definitely be appreciated though.

Exactly. I'd much rather hear "Hey, sorry were running behind on a fix, hang tight" vs radio silence and seeing them online.

I agree. However, they only have the one representative here, Brianna, to update y'all on things. She may be out sick for all we know. Still, as I said before, I'd box it back up and return for a refund. When/if they get it right, rebuy it if you want to.

Hey everyone, sorry for the hold up! We have multiple salespeople/sales managers out with Covid (I thought this Covid crap was over...), and I've been a bit swamped today handling things. I did come on here today to answer a DM and for some reason I didn't have notifications on this thread.

Stillen's President Kyle has been messing with our Tundra, and it seems that the clip doesn't hold properly just due to the thickness of the box in that one spot. On one hand it's great that our box is thicker than the stock box, but on the other hand, the clip doesn't want to grab. We're addressing this issue and will update you shortly.

The coolant reservoir touching the upper lid is another issue that we're looking into, seeing if there is an adjustment that can be easily made.

    @BriannaSTILLEN

Thank you for the update. Realistically speaking, are we looking at a month or two ETA on a fix?

This is assuming a new lid would be required & provided, unless you will ask us to do some sort of modifications on our end.

So your trucontrol is also not working? Care to elaborate what is wrong with it? The unit I have was throwing CELs, waiting for a replacement atm.

Of course, I understand this is urgent and we're working on getting back to you all as fast as possible. The resolution shouldn't take long, and the fix should be simple, but I want to wait to get an official answer from R&D before I inform you all. I'll be in touch shortly with that update.

sorry, no. That’s not what I meant.

to clarify: I bought the Stillen exhaust, tru control, and intake. Was not happy with sound of exhaust so I listed for sale. That’s not a Stillen problem/fault, that’s a preference issue so consider that a wash.
Intake issues identified so it’s sitting in a box. I’m left with only one product that’s theoretically going to work (the tru control) for me but without the intakes and exhaust, what’s the point? The tru control is also sitting in a box at present since I have no bolt ons from their line on my truck.

So, of the 3 products they have for our trucks that I have purchased, only 1 is left at present that may work for me but IMO is silly without at least 1 of the other 2 products to maximize gains.

that being said, if yours is throwing codes, that’s even less faith I have in the tru control. If this is what’s to be expected, I should have just went with the overpriced OEM

Hey @Goobax, I highly recommend trying the TruControl even by itself for now. It's super easy to install, so that part isn't a hassle, and it provides nearly +100 flywheel HP and +80 ft/lbs of torque. It's an amazing power gain on the new Tundra. You have it there, so you may as well try it out and see if you love it. If you don't, it's a simple unplug and you're back to stock.

@Goobax I'll second what Brianna said...install it and make sure it works. I installed my JB4 when the truck was bone stock and the gains were immediate. Last thing you want to do is install the intake and tuner at the same time and not know which one is causing problems (If any).
