Tundra Buyer - Is this Exhaust Rust an Issue

    Rough Country suspension, 305s, ARB bumper, light bar, Smittybuilt 10k winch. XD Buck 25 rims
    Yeah, seems overly rusty to me. But doesn't mean it's an issue. I'd say salt water is the culprit. My 14 had 95K miles on it, has 130K on it now and the exhaust pipes still look close to new.

    I wouldn’t mess with it, it’s not horrible but enough to potentially give you issues down the road. Lots of unseen stuff.

    I work in the corrosion industry, rather the anti-corrosion industry, so I’m not just being dramatic, I just know there’s some lurking stuff and know there’s better options for someone who doesn’t already live in a rust belt state (I don’t know where the “rubber city” is, but you said ~6 hours from the beaches of CA, so I’m taking some liberties here).

    TRD Offroad package also included LED headlights and fog lights for SR5’s. Those are more important than the shocks. The halogen lights are pure garbage.
