Key fob battery is a cr2032. You have the wrong battery.

The manual days CR2016 and the old one from key fob is the same cr2016. CR2032 is too thick, won’t fit thou.

Could be a faulty battery maybe. Do you have another you can test?

Yes I’ve tried 3 different brands, duracell, energizer and Panasonic but no luck. I tested the batteries, 3.3v before replacing it.

If you’ve tried 3 different batteries and none work, it’s not the battery. It’s the remote.

The tension leads that hold the battery on the remotes are fragile. You probably broke it removing the battery. Had it happen on my wife’s highlander with the same key fob.

My other key fob was out of battery and after replacing battery, same thing happens. No response from neither lock, unlock nor panic. Something is wrong.

I'm just guessing here but maybe there's some sort of fuse on the truck that could be bad? I wouldn't know what fuse(if any) it could be but you may want to post problem up in the electronics section? Hopefully someone with knowledge of the electronics can offer advice.

I tested the wireless signal and it flashes once (dome lights are flashing once) when I press LOCK or UNLOCK. It tells me wireless code registration is registered but remote door lock or unlock are not responding.
