You'll laugh at it but I highly recommend the DeWalt 18" 60V chainsaw.

I’m a Dewalt guy so I don’t laugh. The Project Farm vids make it look like a good saw.

West end is still out but I do not know about 80% they just fixed the West End Station and got that back online yesterday??? I think. In law family all back on and they are around the 48th street area.

Heard from an acquaintance that her boyfriend has two sons in Center Point Management and they say it is a complete mess!!! Go figure!:)

Anyone got a recommendation for alignment shop? The steering wheel ain't straight when it pulled straight, and when it is positioned straight it pulled more to the right for some odd reason.
Don't think I have done alignment since I got it three years ago and certainly not when I got the new tires on.
Area: Cypress/290/beltway 8 between 290 & Westheimer, or before 59 really, if it is good work and reasonable price, I can try and make it.

Thanks. Didn't know dealers do alignment, but I guess not everyone of them do.
    Any local shop recommendations?

While Beryl was doing a number on Houston I was in Marocco and Tunisia for 2 weeks :) And man there were so many Toyota Land Cruisers riding the dunes of Sahara. We rented one for few days and we had a blast. I can't describe you what is to like to drive these Toyotas though the desert and through the sand on a 4X4. It was just simply awesome. And one of the picture is where Star Wars was filmed in south of Tunisia :)

And then I had to come back and deal with Beryl's shit :(

They got my buddy on the hook for almost $200 - I guess because of his 35" rubber & lift.

Whatever this forum told me to do
    I felt the same.

    but the dealership was sketchy.
    the little shops are sketchy.

and the firestone laser machine is advanced tech. & hard for the tech to screw it up.

    my Tundra rides straight now.
the Firestone alignment machine or tech was smart enough to tell me I had a bad tire*.

For the record - I am stock wheels & susp.

YMMV...but, I can take my ride into any firestone & get it lined back up for free.

one shop didn't want to touch my truck because it had traction bars...like those would affect the alignment!

*My truck started to pull to the right soon after I put my Michelin's on it. when I finally took it to firestone, the machine told me it was in perfect alignment. so they rotated the tires & BAM it did not pull anymore.

Yea, some people swear by it while some hate it so much.....lol
I was trying to read the fine print of the lifetime alignment, because I think it is one car/one set of tires or wheels, can't remember which.
I get the one car part, but if just one set of tire life, that's gonna hurt, they mostly get replaced around 50-80k miles depending on what it is.
If you use it more than two to three times it is already paid for, but chance are you may not even remember to do it.....lol
Right now they are offering it for $209 with a $20 coupon, so $189+tax..... not a bad deal, but DT is right across the street from them, and there is another smaller-ish local shop (Adam's) just across the intersection and seems pretty solid.

Does anyone know of a shop that can rent out their shop space for a couple of hours that includes a lift?
Would like to get some work done and having a lift is gonna make it easier, so we are not lying down trying not to get squashed by our rigs....

Looks like a siberian husky. The close set ears on top give it away. I have one by the way, great dogs very friendly.

    Would agree with @sask3m
If anything wild, that bastard is too well fed, which led to think more domesticated, then wolf-ish appearance, it should be a Husky, but was not sure what brand....

Whatever this forum told me to do
    just some blather.

Did maintenance on the Generac 22kw at the lake*. 1st time with a Generac.

I'm used to our Briggs & Stratton 20kw.

the Generac is MUCH easier to maintain.
    easy air filter
    easy spark plugs
    easy oil change.

*Hurricane Beryl had it running for 3 days straight.
