That doesn't sound familiar at all, I suspect foul play.

    Yes. No. Most.

So the reason I was up there. Me and Warren drove into Hollister with me in front. We drive into the parking lot where Cruz and Eddo were waiting and I somehow didn’t see them and drove right past them. 10 seconds later I see the giant truck teeter totter bridge thingy so ofcourse I had to go over it. I get off of it and Warren is nowhere to be found. He’s not answering the radio cuz he’s out of his truck talking to Cruz and Eddo. Had no idea where he was. Lol. Drive up to the top of that thing and I see them all in the parking lot.

Haven’t even driven it in a year. Life’s been getting in the way. But plan to start wheeling again this year. Got a bunch of parts piling up in the garage. Soon as I get my new CVs in, I’m going out to the desert.

My 15 year old daughter drove the truck for the first time. Scary, but not as scary as I was expecting. She’s definitely ready to start driving on some dirt.

My niece just got her permit and drove mine for an hour on day 2 of road driving. Also not as scary as I was expecting haha.

    X2Power AGM 27F Battery

    IMG_6313.jpg
    IMG_6307.jpg

My Northstar battery finally gave out a few months ago. Needed my truck so went down to Autozone and bought an Optima Yellow Top AGM. Was brand new but the battery posts looked worn and used. Didn’t think much of it but then a couple months later, the needle on the gauge on the instrument panel started bouncing. Cleaned it up a bit and applied some battery grease and bouncing needle went away. Couple of months later the bouncing needle came back and occasionally the truck would just die and lose all power. Took the Optima piece of crap back to Autozone and got a full refund.

Batteries Plus had the X2 in stock so swooped one up. It’s the battery that replaced the Northstar so dimensions fit my custom battery cage perfectly. The Optima POS was smaller so I had to add some foam to prevent it from moving. Which was concerning me a bit when I get my truck back on dirt.

Note to self: 4 year warranty from this date.

I use a Sharpie to write the install date on the top of my batteries. Otherwise I'll forget where to find the date. I think most batteries have date codes but this way I don't need a cypher to figure out the age.

Wrote mine on top dating 03/2023 and it just smeared. Gonna give this a try. How much was the total cost for the 27?

I forget, but is this your secondary or you relocated the entire battery to the bed?

I already forgot lol. I think it was about $400. Batteries Plus has a 15% off sale online right now. Got lucky, I went into the website to order the battery and stumbled upon it.

It’s just my main relocated to the bed.
