Great information. This helps a lot as i get close to getting it done. I am leaning towards a Platinum, but have heard that the seats in the Limited are softer than the real leather in the Platinum. I do a lot of long trip driving for work, and i really do have to have the most comfortable seat.
Any thoughts on the seats? I will definently have to drive both levels to see for myself.

Sounds like the Limited 1794 with the saddleback leather is your top pick.

Yes, drive both. You have to live with your final decision.
I will say this, the Softex seats in the Limited are "road trip" comfortable, and I can't find fault in them from a comfort standpoint.
No complaints from the maker of sandwiches in the passenger seat either.

Less maintenance care needed as well ... over time that will prove worthy imo.

I’ve got everything a platinum has on my limited except for the 120v outlet.

Limiteds can be built with certain packages to get close to a platinum. Up here in Boston there are 4 major packages that make it close but usually you can only get 3 out of the 4. That’s JBL, Pano roof, upgraded headlight package, and the bedlight package. If you have all those your close but the platinum will still have body color on outside, heated and cooled back seats, real leather seats with thigh extender, acoustic windshield, power steering wheel tilt, auto wipers, a better console lid with the cover over that blank space your elbow goes, mood lighting with footwell lights, auto up down windows all 4, black headliner, and a sea of leather on dash and doors that takes about half a bottle of leather cleaner to clean ha. Those extras are where the extra few thousand will come in

Don’t forget about the nightshade package on the limited body colors everything. Also my limited has auto up/down on all 4 windows. I do wish you could option the limited with the thigh extender. It would be real nice for long road trips.

plus rear sunshades , ambient lighting all over , not just in footwells , AVS , power running boards, power bed step, HUD,

when you truly look at every last detail , which is hard to do actually , there is a lot more than a limited ,

Just to be clear , nothing wrong with limited at all, but there is more , I forgot the acoustic windshield as well, it does help

IMO, look at both really good before deciding. I was also looking at both trims when I bought mine. A lot of it came down to looks for me. Might've even got a TRD Pro if it had the 6 ft. bed. I don't really like chrome, including the door badges and grille on the plat/1794/capstone. The limited with TRD OR has black and color matched badging and trim, and it looks very stealthy on a black truck. I also wanted the boulder interior color and the softex seats are really nice, IMO. AVS is about the only option I would've liked that I don't have. Go with what you like the best if both are within your budget.

Not being facetious but what exactly is up with the acoustic windshield?

Having had a 1794 for a year, I don't really care about the ventilated seats, real vs faux leather, the sunroof or the bling trim. The AVS and running boards for my wife are must haves. Buy one that strikes the balance of a good deal and the must have features. Nobody will care if you have a platinum, 1794, capstone or Limited once you have it and neither will you.

I didn’t see anyone post about this but the platinum will probably hold its value a bit better than a well spec’d limited. So something to think about if you trade often. If you keep vehicles for a long time then it won’t really matter.

Incorrect. My non-hybrid Limited has a digital dash. In 2024 they started putting them in the limited non-hybrid models.

you can get a OR platinum now, so you have some errors there. Also missing a thing or two like sunshades, etc

like Ive said all along, its really hard to list out every single small difference, there's a lot when you get into it

also, I think the ambient lighting works well, center console, etc.

yeah i know about the plat OR since they just added it for MY24. but even inside of that, the plat OR is slightly different than the limited OR. the wildpeak is unique to the limited vs the plat OR

Yeah you are right rear heated and cool seats. Nobody sits back there really. But I imagine cool to have. Not really going to say that leather is better than the synthetic leather that is also in the TRD PRO.

Your either sunroof people or your not. My wife is not, I enjoy a sunroof. She never opens hers, if it’s not blazing hot out, I like the shade open to let in extra light. I rarely open it though.
