So you want to buy my 2.5 gen?
Well have you considered a first gen? I love mine.
No, mines not for sale. It's so much better than my 2.5 gen.
Oh, you're not buying the 2.5 gen now? Damn...

This thing is priced to sell now. He was asking above the price of a new gen 3 Magnuson (TVS1320) prior.
    But now it's reasonable for a new-in-box TRD/Magnuson gen 2 for the 5vzfe.
    @The Black Mamba
Almost makes me want to go find a clean 97-04 Tacoma with a 5vz and R150 to bolt that sucker onto and live out a childhood fantasy of mine. Must have supercharged Toyota before I die. Preferably paired with a manual transmission.

    Perfect...

I tried the road less traveled today but kept running into road blocks. I had to recreate the scene from Austin Powers to get out.

    PXL_20240810_200053733.jpg

Then I came up on a rock slide. I could have possibly squeezed through here but didn't seem worth the risk. The picture is deceiving. It was tight.

    PXL_20240810_203658185.jpg

This Land Cruiser made it through but he had a spotter.

    PXL_20240810_203946680.jpg

Then finally this. I probed it with a stick. It was deep. Would have attempted it if I wasn't alone.

How you like that black vinyl on your hood?
I know people do a flat black there to decrease glare from rooftop lights. Any plans for some lights on that rack?

I like it. Can't say I notice much difference with glare but it definitely added 5 horsepower. I doubt I'll add any lights up top but I'd like more on my bumper. I have two open spots.

Dang man. Where you been. You thought my roof rack was new and missed my amber pods. I've had both for 4 years.

I thought the matte black hood stickers were for solar glare.

I'm under the opinion that as a whole, we don't post our rigs often enough. :anonymous:

I also don't venture into build threads much. I should... But :notsure:

Besides, you got a white truck with a black bumper and four slots... All the Kool kids are running four bumper ambers. :boink:

One of these days I need to wire my ditch lights. I'm pretty sure I have a nice rocker switch that'll fit in my switch panel by the mirror and while I'm at it, I need to wire my mirror.

Will the mower blade cut off my toes when I attempt to enter the vehicle, or will it be something drum like at the front/rear end?

Been trying to figure out a newer daily driver. Hate to say it, but an Outback keeps popping up as responsible option. BUT, today a Corolla makes more sense.

Anyone heard of/about this? A Toyota pickup truck wearing a Corolla badge??
Size - between the Tacoma & the Tundra, so maybe 1st gen sized but new? Base truck @ $25k. (@Jack McCarthy )

    Weight reduction, mostly rust.
No mower attachments. If I do this it will just be a glorified golf cart/Gator. Although maybe a pull behind?... hmmmm, Batwing perhaps?

General rule: If it's a roboreader vid on yootoob and the channel responds to all the comments with the same generic thank you, the video and channel are 99.9% horseshit.

Not real. AI garbage. None of the renderings even match. There was talks of a unibody tiny truck from Toyota, but I don't think it was going to be for the US market anyway.

Yeah, the reality is, even if Toyota did come out with a "Corolla pickup", it wouldn't be "between the Tacoma and Tundra" in size, wouldn't look anything like the Tacoma (basically) they're showing, and would be more like this, a Corolla ripoff of the Brat. I would actually be tempted to buy something like this render.

The Stout. It could still happen because they saw the massive popularity that the Maverick has. Trouble is, the toyota tax will kill it. The Maverick's appeal is that it is a "truck" at a low price point. It won't match the features of the Maverick or Santa Cruz and it's going to cost more.
