Our 401(k) has 'Brokerage Link', where you can trade anything in any market that isn't already in the portfolio. And selling leaves the money in the 401(k), so there aren't any tax implications. It's nice.

 

I had some bad food and liquor last night, so I've squatted like 5 times today.

 

@GODZILLA you mentioned a few posts back (somewhere here) that you are going to do a spray-in bed liner.

I got an earful from the guy that did my Line-X yesterday…after he did the work. Apparently Line-X is trying to change the T&C’s with their dealers and it isn’t going well. Some are bailing and others are not going along with the changes.

Not sure who else does that kind of work but you might want to ask around for something other than Line-X

 

I've had both shoulders scoped. The left one is in terrific shape now, and the right one isn't nearly as painful as before surgery. They were 14 and 20 years ago, and I'm happy I got them done. I hope yours turns out perfect.

Sorry for the cryptic note. Was running out the door and didn’t want to forget.

Product is still solid. My guy said Line-X HQ is “forcing” dealers (franchises) to sign a ten-year contract that gives them 6% of all sales. Accessories, lifts, tinting…whatever the shop does. Is also requiring dealers to use their POS (point of sale) software and credit card readers. Sounds like they want a cut of that too. Bunch of dealers banded together and sued. Line-X said they could get out of their contract so 20 bailed (not sure how many were in the suit).

Dealer told me he hasn’t decided what to do yet. But he’s not getting reimbursed from Line-X for all the repair work he’s required to do. A few other shops in the area have closed, so he’s getting a lot of work from all over the state.

Dunno if this is all true or half truths or BS but if you want a Line-X I’d pick your dealer’s brain about this. Don’t want to get stuck with a product that’s not supported.

I have had three Line-X’s now and think it is a great product. Much better than the Rhino Liner I had years ago. Hopefully things shake out but you never know…This is the best install too that I have had.
