Sorry, not enough care to read through 37 pages, but whats the consensus on the springfield hellcat? I know its not really an EDC option, but has anyone done a micro roni on one?

Traded for a bit of labor.

I carry it a lot in warm weather. It is very accurate for a micro 9.

Why isn't it an EDC option? It conceals well, is accurate, and you can get up to stock 15-round magazines (or even a 17-round Pro magazine if you use the 15-rd sleeve with it).

Hmm.....and here I wondered if this site was "gun friendly." Guess now I know.

Right now (as this can change) I carry a Kahr CW 45 in a Mitch Rosen "Express Line" thumb break, strong side.

Wife is packing my old S&W 638-2 either in belly band or High Noon Holsters strong side kydex holster.

Once her Andrews Leather "saddle" thumb break comes in, she'll be packing her Browning 1911-380 full size and once my Andrews McDaniel II cross draw IWB comes in, I'll be toting my S&W 1911 PD full size in .45 ACP.

We always carry reloads and we always carry pepper spray. Sabre Red in Mark VI container for me and either that or Fox Labs "Mean Green" in an Accumold carrier for her.

Winter I may or may not have the Kahr or a .38 J-frame but often in winter I carry a S&W 1911 Sc (.45 ACP) in an Andrews Leather monarch shoulder holster.

"Deep concealment." I think that means "time consuming and / or two handed draw." I used to carry in such holsters when I taught a few college courses. Had a Kramer "Confidant" shirt holster that worked great. Slow draw but it would take a determined pat down to find it. I wore mine over a white tee shirt and below my button-up dress shirt. I'd leave an extra button at the top undone and not wear a tie. Carry pistol for that was a Kahr P9 Covert. I also carried a Colt .380 in (wait for it) "Thunderwear." This was a nail apron-like holster that went around your waist, underneath pants, and below the belt line. Your pants needed to be pleated to hide the bottom of the grip.

The Confidant was a one-hand draw and Thunderwear was a two-handed draw.

I no longer do two-handed draws, but I still have the two deep carry holsters.

If I was looking for another compact auto, I'd go for the Sig 365 XL.

However I have too many bills!

My s&w equalizer in a crossbreed reckoning holster is quickly becoming my favorite. Would be perfect but the stippling on the grip is aggressive enough to catch on the sweat wicking shirts I wear. Cotton shirts are no issue.

    Is this the older shield?

who did the milling work for the red dot?

I’ve had my shield 9mm for years and shoot it well. Can’t bring myself to spend more money on a newer sig or Glock because the S&W just works well, but I have considered mounting a 407k.
