Those would get ripped off so fast when driving over anything that isn't pavement.

Doesn't look possible to turn off the red accent light either. That is just plain ugly, but I do like the plug and play aspect.

What if you're specifically using backup lights to see while using a trailer? I use a trailer like 3x a week. I know Baja is nice, but do they have another way to mount a plug and play Tundra light?

They have a similar setup to DD but looks like its tucked up higher.

For a permanent install, I would use these...mounted directly to the bumper so theyre out of harms way when wheelin

@Baja Designs where do I send my 1099 info for a commission?

    Hey @JBronius,

With consisting adding some back up lights to the rig. Baja Designs has a few options that we have available that are either a universal option or we have a Hitch mount kit that will be plug and play utilizing our S1 as @eddiefromcali has mention.

We offer our S1 and S2 lights in a universal option, so if you're looking for higher-mounted lighting, there are several companies that make bed mounts compatible with AUX lights. Our S1 hitch mount kit is a plug-and-play solution that comes with either a toggle switch or a trailer hitch harness. Depending on your needs, we have a variety of options, including different lenses, to help you achieve the optimal light spread.

If you interested in more information about one of the options we offer please feel free to reach out and I can help you get dialed.

    Best,
    Bill

    Function before sparkle.
Not a 3rd Gen, but sharing for inspiration. These are Rigid flush mounts that are wired to the rear cargo light switch instead of reverse lights.

Pete is the only person to mention a switch. How do you switch them on?

They come on automatically when I put the truck in reverse, which is what I wanted. I am sure that if someone wanted to have a switch, they would just have to wire it up that way.
