Just picked up a set of (4) TRD OR wheels for $250. One wheel has 6 or so decently sized curb rash marks so I've got some options and looking for opinions. Get the one wheel repaired for $180 or all 4 redone for $600 at any color I like. Thanks in advance.

2021 TRD Sport, color is MGM. Planning to pair with Wildpeak AT4W.

Options on the table (also open to suggestions):

    A. Get 1 wheel redone to OE spec
    B. Get 4 wheels redone, color Gloss Black
    C. Get 4 wheels redone, color Matte Black
    D. Get 4 wheels redone, color Gloss Gunmetal Gray
    E. Get 4 wheels redone, color Matte Gunmetal Gray

I think gloss looks better on wheels, if they have samples I'd look at that I'd worry the gunmetal would look too much like a failed attempt at color match.

Second choice would be black. Doesn't look like you have chrome anywhere else otherwise the OE scheme could have worked well.

My 2 cents, do what will make you happy.

I’d probably try to find one more wheel for cheap and use the bad one as the spare.

I’ve got these and contemplated many different ways to change them. In the end? I ended up liking the contrast on them between the black and the machined. I added the TRD center caps and just rocked em stock. I’ll agree with find one more good one and use the scrub for a spare.

    Thanks for your responses!

After reading the below responses, gloss sounds like the preferred option of most. Think if he could color match using the MGM paint code (non-metallic), that would be a good option?

    +1 gloss black.

I'd probably just get the one I have repaired for the $180, less concerned about my spare.

    That does look fantastic.

    +2 gloss black

    +3 gloss black. Thanks Jim.

Gone back and forth here. The OE color scheme does look good with MGM. Would save me about $400.

Edgy! Don't know if I've seen an OE rim that color.

Where did you get those center caps?

Also OP, I’m interested in doing the same with my wheels. Are you having this done at a paint shop?
+1 on the gloss black from me.

These are the best looking wheels for our trucks. So good that every other manufacturer has tried to replicate them but just can’t seem to get it right.

I love the two tone OE style…the contrast looks perfect on practically very color.
