Yikes - gauge in paint!

    Oh boy - yesterday while I was grabbing a bottle of cold water from my Tundra, my horse scraped a huge gauge in the paint! I’ve not taken it anywhere yet - is the only option to replace the front left panel? IMG_7631.jpg

    Appears to be dented along the path as well. They can straighten that out and repaint that panel. They'll need to blend adjacent panels to get the best match. It's possible to clean that up and touch it up with paint also, but you'll always know it's there.

    We had a similar issue - except it was on our LandCruiser and the horse was my son in a side by side. I didn’t even ask them to attempt repair - the panel was only about $600-800 (Toyota part), it was about $1,200 out the door painted and installed.

    That gouge shouldnt be too bad to get fixed. As @KNABORES said. It looks slightly dented also from the photo.

    Any decent body shop should be able to take care of that for less than a new fender.
